Founding Lawyer
Kevin Etzkorn is a dedicated St. Louis native who has called this vibrant city his home throughout his life. He pursued his education at Saint Louis University where he graduated at the top of his class (Phi Beta Kappa) with a bachelor’s degree and then again at the top of his class (Cum Laude) with a law degree. That he excelled in school is a testament to his exceptional aptitude and hard work.
Trained by some of the best trial lawyers, Kevin spent the first 10 years of his career at larger firms representing corporations in Missouri and Illinois. He gained substantial trial experience as first chair counsel on auto and general liability cases for a worldwide insurer and a large hospital system. He also defended physicians and hospital systems in long, complex trials that ranged from two weeks to four weeks.
In December 2014, he left a comfortable job at a large corporate law firm to start a firm representing regular people. Since then, he has focused his practice on finding justice for those harmed by the negligent, reckless, and fraudulent acts of others. Thanks to his decade as a corporate defense lawyer, Kevin has invaluable insight into how big businesses defend cases and what can be done to get justice for his clients. Kevin has helped clients through difficult injury, malpractice, elder abuse and nursing home negligence, child abuse and business tort cases. When he accepts a new client, he focuses on finding the best way to correct the injustices they have suffered.
His commitment to his clients is evident from the positive results he has achieved on their behalf. In recent years, notable results have included jury verdicts in St. Charles County ($750,000 where defense suggested $50,000-$75,000), St. Louis City ($37,000 on a no-offer case), St. Louis City ($78,000 + attorney fees where last offer was $12,000). During this same timeframe, he has recovered millions by way of settlements.
Kevin lives in St. Louis with his wife and three children. He prides himself on treating his clients the same way he would want his family members represented.
